Immediately beyond the house are the attractive gardens and grounds, with orange and other fruit trees lending fragrance and colour to the splendid views which extend over the twinkling town below to the southern coastal mountains of Lújar and La Contraviesa beyond.

These grounds, all 2,000m² of them - and the lovely swimming pool in their midst - are shared with guests staying at a second holiday home located in a private corner at the far end of the gardens. Designed in the traditional rustic style of the area for easy and enjoyable living, the property has its own private entrance through a covered patio at the beginning of the gardens. One enters to a large, spacious living / dining room with a well-equipped open-plan kitchen area. There's plenty of light and all the facilities are excellent (it is after all, a proper home) with Satelite TV, VCR and DVD players aa well as a Radio / CD player to keep you in the holiday mood. Furnishings are tasteful and imaginative.

From here, two bedrooms lead off (one double and one twin bedded) with a very pretty tiled bathroom in between. Another door takes one out to the south-facing, vine-covered terrace. With its built-in barbecue and wooden furniture this is a completely private space, another great place to relax and take in the beautiful views.

And just in case you want to spice things up a bit more, a delightful Finish sauna hut (also shared with the other holiday home) awaits you in an independent corner of the grounds.

Obviously, for a larger family or group of friends, the rental of both properties would make an excellent combination, offering high quality accommodation, bags of space and, of course, private use of the gardens and swimming pool.
